==History== Despite steering clear of all important transplanetary events for a long time, Coraab can take pride in rich and colorful history due to unique post-evolutionary processes. The year of Miners' arrival (0 Tu) is considered a reference point in the complicated history of Coraab - or indeed entire Coraabia - as it changed forever the planet's character and opened it to the rest of the multiverse. ===Before Dump=== Coraab revolved around its home star Unaar undisturbed for hundreds of millions of years. The planet underwent its own slow evolution β the life spreaded to Coraab by comets happily grew and transformed. up to -36,000 Tu β A developed culture of native inhabitants, who would later name the planet after themselves, has existed on Coraab for several millennia. They called themselves Or'aabi (Coraabi in the modern Coraabian) and their home world Or'A (The Enhanced Garden). These Pre-Coraabians were highly evolved reptiles who formed hierarchical communities thanks to their great brain capacity. However, their peaceful existence was soon disrupted by an outside intervention. One day, gigantic shadows descended from the heavens and polluted vast areas with millions of tons of waste and scrap. Similar spaceships soon filled the sky over the entire planet. Native Coraabians failed to adapt to these irreparable blows to the fragile planetary ecosystem β the toxic air contaminants doomed their whole culture to extinction. This event is known in Coraabian history as the Dumpers' Arrival. The following millennia saw the planet transforming into a huge scrapyard β a stinky junk heap for the hyperdeveloped cultures. A plethora of archaeologists have failed in their attempts to identify the origin of many technologies; tens of civilizations must have employed the services of these ancient Dumpers. ===The Period of the Dump=== ====Early Dump==== [[File:Coraabopedia_Coraab_ranna_skladka_by_David_Lecossu.jpg |thumb|right|380 px|alt=A |Coraab - of all things, the short but intensive Period of the Early Dump resembled a planetary apocalypse the most. β’ around -35,000 Tu
(Coraabia Artist: David Lecossu)]] also called Wagtha-Nor (The Metal grave) -36,000 Tu β -33,000 Tu β Hundreds of Dumpers' spaceships littered Coraab with more and more waste every year. Later research would show that during this era, an unbelievable 85% of the planetary surface was covered with Dump; at some places, this layer was several kilometres thick and full of organic and anorganic waste of all sorts: wrecks of smaller space modules as well as giant transplanetary magravs, dormant nuclear reactors, heaps of corroding scrap, decontaminated rotting remains of the ersatz spongy atmosphere from the Mycoid worlds, the precious T'ung matter. The atmosphere was polluted with poisonous substances for entire centuries which caused the extinction of 97% of Coraabian fauna and flora. It took unbelievable 3000 years before the influx of garbage-filled spaceships from civilized worlds stopped for good. In the last decades of this period, the Dumpers finally gave up on their meticulous work ethic and the last billions of tons of waste ended up right in the open space in the outer areas of the Coraab's system. Thus, the MoiZaan emerged β a large ring composed of a mixture of megalithic wreckages and countless asteroids, forming a symbolic boundary of Coraab's influence in our days. ====Middle Dump==== also called Zaan Woggora (The Upper layer) [[File:Coraab_skladka_markus_lovadina.jpg |thumb|360 px|left|alt=A |The planetary Dump forever rendered Coraab unrecognizable. β’ around -12,000 Tu
(Coraabia Artist: Markus Lovadina)]] -33,000 Tu β -2000 Tu β This long period brought about many significant changes to the planet. Although the planetary Dump was not expanding any more, many weird things were happening deep inside. One cannot forget that besides a lot of various garbage or toxic and radioactive wrecks, the developed races also brought to Coraab organic "remains" of their civilizations - dead bodies of surplus clones, slaves or biocyborgs from ancient wars, individual body parts and huge containers in which as much as one hundred thousand creatures were squeezed together. Discarded, defective and useless servants of the old world crawled up to the surface all around the planet. After centuries of selective struggle for survival in the extreme environment of the Dump, one race clearly dominated β the Unliving. However, these sturdy and long-living creatures were not the only inhabitants of the devastated and distorted ecosystem β there were also quite a few functional bots, cyborgs and androids among the debris and scrap. For some time, they even controlled the entire northern hemisphere, where the temperatures rested well below the freezing point due to several glacial periods. In the course of millennia, the variety of both life and unlife increased dramatically. The first pseudo-forests appeared as synthetic successors to the living flora, which could not thrive on Coraab anymore due to the high content of toxins in Coraab's soil. First civilizations appeared as well. The Unliving litter was dominated by three so-called higher Unliving tribes: Zombs, Ilokajs and Atomi. Other vast regions of Coraab were still under control by mechacultures of all shapes and sizes. Even the planetary Dump itself changed. It rusted more and more, all biological components rotted away. Finally, the first beams of Unaar penetrated the thick layer of toxic clouds around Coraab. A new age began. -11,000 Tu β The Dump degenerated fastest in the South of the planet due to the thin ozonosphere and high temperatures. Vast areas below the equator saw the emergence of the so-called Rusty Dunes - a mixed desert consisting mainly of oxidized metals and fine silicon crystals. At this exact place appeared the first Du'Baels, also known as Wild Bones. These ancient predecessors of today's Baels established their first settlements there and gradually expanded to the rest of the world β they met the Unliving and helped them in their endless tribal wars. [[File:Coraabopedia_Coraab_obdobi_stredni_skladky_by_Anton_Kokarev.jpg |thumb|right|340 px|alt=A |The Unliving culture freely mixed with the mechacultures. The Middle Dump was the longest post-evolutionary period of Coraab's history.
(Coraabia Artist: Anton Kokarev)]] -7500 Tu β The first state was formed in the vicinity of radioactive polar Lake Wat-Pagae β the old Zombic empire Kao-Paga. -4300 Tu β The Unliving tribe of Wigits claimed huge swathes of land around the equator, forming a centrally governed Wigitic domain later known as Dwagi. -3700 Tu β The first Unliving colonies were established in the so far sparsely populated southern hemisphere. The majority of them was concentrated around the so-called Great Corabit Well, where the Unliving mastered the mining of precious corabit and refining of the T'ung matter thanks to the wisdom of local Zombs. -3450 Tu β Several Ilokajish settlemets merged in the Rusty Dunes, forming the so-called Empire of the Circle. This first Ilokajish state was destined to make a huge impact on history for the next two thousand years. -2511 Tu β The year of the foundation of the city state Wrrhta, later Mino. This so-called "civilizational awakening" is triggered by the great Zombic prophet and future first city governor Miniz. -2255 Tu β The city of Mino faced an overwhelming attack from the Wild Bones. The megapolis was almost plundered and Miniz was forced to deploy advanced biological weapons against the enemy. The attack was fended off but Mino was rendered for the most part uninhabitable for several long years. ====Upper Dump==== also called Paga-Popthara (The Lake litter) -2000 Tu β -825 Tu β The Dump was steadily overgrowing for several thousand years already. Although this process definitely did not progress everywhere evenly, it was evident that Coraab got a second wind. The decreasing pollution levels went hand in hand with lush pseudo-flora protruding at furious pace from the megalithic metal plains. Even the civilization underwent dynamic change. Wars of the Unliving were raging all around the planet β faction against faction, tribe against tribe, the individual ethnic groups differed from each other both in language and customs. The Unliving communities alternately forged alliances with bots, Wild Bones and other forms of life and unlife formed by the ancient Dump. In the South appeared the Wigits, areas surrounding radioactive Lake Wat-Pagae in the North were claimed by Atomi. Yellowish rivers rushed through the newly-formed channels; their stream beds oftentimes still metallic. The Dump was continuously sinking into tons of rubble and sediments all over Coraab and its large bulges were swamped by groundwater with all kinds of mess. In the meantime, on the surface, the civilization of the Unliving was still moving up the ladder of natural selection. -1997 Tu β Mino was devastated by a terrible earthquake. Two thirds of the city were razed to the ground and the city council, along with the governor Miniz, met their deaths in the ruins. Mino descended into riots and growing civil war for several years. -1968 Tu β The Wigitic primus Raabdwa came from the wasteland with his army, seizing the city of Mino. -1617 Tu β Yach-Log, the collection of Unliving treatises, appeared on Coraab for the first time, quickly becoming the most widespread reading among the majority of original tribes. =====Period of Unliving states===== also called Mo'tha Gokarra (Period of the Atomic Empire) -825 Tu β 0 Tu β In the deep waters of radioactive Lake Wat-Pagae, Zomboss, a Zomb of the Paga genus and the leader of a small Atomic clan, found a precious artifact spun with mystery β Wohraab. During one of his attempts to control the power which literally gushed forth from this Dumpers' artifact, the powerful Zomb was paralyzed from the waist down. However, this incident in no way prevented him from continuing the unprecedented all-conquering campaign across Coraab β years of dramatic expansion of Atomi ensued. -823 Tu β Atomic hordes spearheaded by Zomboss claimed vast territories belonging to the Empire od the Circle β they even conquered its centropolis Tor'Thubo. -817 Tu β During one of the battles for yet another city-state of the Empire of the Circle, a palankeen carrying Zomboss fell into a Dump fault. After several days, a new creature emerged from inside the earth, still clutching the powerful object which seemed to come to life. Together with the artifact which became a source of absolute power, Zomboss subdued the whole supercontinent for several decades. The Unliving tribe of Atomi was never stronger. -770 Tu β The Du'Baels, longstanding Zomboss' allies, totally unexpectedly scrapped their agreement with Atomi and joined the enemy. -767 Tu β The event known as the Atomic genocide occured. Borders of the Atomic Empire were crossed by a huge force composed of many Unliving tribes, Wild Bones troops and thousands of bots. Millions of Atomi led by Zomboss and his minions were basically annihilated in the following two years. It was possible that few Atomi escaped the bloody massacre and interbred with other tribes, but no further significant mentions of them exist. Together with the Atomic Empire, the millennial Empire of the Circle perished as well. In the next centuries, new communities would spread over the planet. ===Period of Excavation=== also called G'hor-Mino (The First Excavation) [[File:Coraabopedia_Miners_arrival_by_Travis_Wright.jpg |thumb|440 px|right|alt=A |The arrival of the first Miners on Coraab - a crucial moment in modern history and the epoch of the calendar era as we know it today.
(Coraabia Artist: Travis Wright)]] 0 Tu β 1262 Tu β This period was the most significant turning point in the modern history of Coraab, linked with the arrival of a civilization later known only as the Miners. It was not entirely clear where these living humanoids came from, but it went without saying they possessed technologies far beyond anything the local Unliving could even dream of; this imbalance could have been one of the causes of the first conflicts. Miners were systematically harassed by the Unliving in the north of the planet, which induced their hostile reaction. After hydrogen bombs obliterated several Unliving states, both parties reached a mutual, albeit fragile agreement. The Miners did not travel the staggering interstellar distance in their giant cargo magravs without reason β they were fascinated by the Dump, the ancient planetary superstructure stretching beneath the thin layer of Coraab's soil, for it contained an astonishing amount of precious metals and substances which apparently seemed useless to the old Haze cultures. However, it represented a source of immeasurable wealth for the Miners: platinum or tri-buroten from the ancient spaceship interware, loads of defective synthetic diamonds, uranium from dormant reactors, the T'ung matter - all this gave cause for establishing huge mining stations and docks for Miners' spaceships on Coraab. In these so-called Tal colonies, the Unliving were used by many miners as cheap labor. Plenty of them met their end in dump mines β heaps of rust and corroded alloys collapsing under their own weight, sealed toxic containers infecting large areas upon accidental damage β all this cost hundreds of thousands of workers their unlives. After thousands of years, the Dump once again opened its insides on many places and sowed death. 225 Tu β After the death of powerful Zombog, the Miners occupied the last developed Unliving state on Coraab β the mighty Mino. They longed for huge deposits of corabit located in nearby Great Corabit Well. A total destruction of the city was averted only thanks to members of the Minoan Lodge; they offered that their trained and qualified Unliving workers would surrender a share of extracted material in exchange for peace. In the course of following centuries, the ancient and mighty metropolis suffered under the yoke of slave-like vassalship dictated by newly-arrived plunderers. [[File:Coraabopedia_Antigrav_by_Markus_Lovadina.jpg |thumb|left |350 px|alt=A |A mining antigrav fully loaded with raw corabit returns to a Tal colony.
(Coraabia Artist: Markus Lovadina)]] 303 Tu β Miners established the industrial complex Ora in the vicinity of Mino, thus creating a unique conurbation Min'Ora which was the most densely populated agglomeration on Coraab for many centuries. 600 Tu β Huge Tal colonies were still prosperous. To all intents and purposes, the majority of the Unliving were enslaved under the threat of extermination. Although some resistance movements appeared in the colonies, they were immediately brutally surpressed. Du'Baels turned their back on their former way of warrior life and mysteriously disappeared in the Rusty Dunes. 1100 Tu β Miners' traditional livelihood slowly stopped paying off. The mining sites for extraction of valuables were gradually shrinking in size β the drilling often had to go much deeper than before. The extraction stagnated in many places and numerous riots and strikes ensued. The bloated operating costs of Tal colonies coupled with the need to provide for millions of Unliving workers gobbled up astronomical funds on a daily basis. Coraabian society underwent a serious crisis. 1164 Tu β Thanks to an intervention by a powerful Zomb named Wohrra, Min'Ora freed itself from the yoke of Miners. For long, it was the only sizable autonomous territory of the Unliving on the planet. This island of freedom gave them hope for better future. [[File:Coraabopedia_Coraab_Talske_kolonie_by_Paul_Chadeisson.jpg |thumb|right|420 px|alt=A |The Tal colony Co-Tal produced up to 2,100,000 tonnes of processed corabit during a single Year of Excavation in its prime.β’ around 800 Tu
(Coraabia Artist: Paul Chadeisson)]] 1211 Tu β A discord arose among the Miners in the Tal colonies β being afraid of the ultimate economic crash, many of them demanded to abandon Coraab for good. They argued the Dump already revealed all the secrets it possibly could, and so the time had come to move elsewhere. However, the centuries of alienation to original nomad lifestyle did their part, and the younger generations resolutely refused to leave their new home. Finally, after several sharp conflicts, around one third of the Miners' population flew off in their huge magravs β and Coraab would never hear of them again. The remaining Miners immediately agreed on one question: to survive on this planet and to avoid a revolt of the Unliving, all Miners would need to unite in their opinions. With the assistance of thorough geological analyses, a large plateau near the planet's equator was chosen. The biggest construction project in the history of Coraab began. 1263 Tu β Millions of Unliving workers were building the largest centropolis far and wide. It took only several decades before C'Ora (often called by other cultures simply Coraab City or Peripheral City) occupied an area of several hundred square kilometres. Almost all the Miners relocated there after abandoning the Tal colonies along with the ancient tradition of extraction. C'Ora also became a new home for a significant fraction of Unliving workers participating in its construction. However, they settled in the inner Circuits (nowadays Sectors) where large ghettos sprang up with time. ===Period of the Centropolis=== also called C'oraa (The Centre) 1263 Tu - present β Coraab was changing. A period of general prosperity commenced. All emerging local conflicts were always quickly surpressed. The civilization was not longer concentrated only in the megalithic C'Ora and its decaying inner Sectors, where people suffered from existential social problems. The centropolis of Coraab was surrounded by newly founded dumpsites, waste by-products of the expanding society. Thus, a new suburban area was gradually formed - the so-called Periphery. However, none of these civilizational dumps could hold a candle to the original Dump, which was still omnipresent on Coraab, quietly slumbering under the surface. [[File:Stavba_c_ory_sonobeno.jpg |thumb|500 px|left|alt=A |The construction of C'Ora goes at full steam - Sector 4 β’ 1447 Tu
(Coraabia Artist: Soren Bendt Pedersen)]] 1520 Tu β The famous Bokoron was built, an administrative temple complex from which the newly constituted Miners' council Cor'Tal (The Great Tal) governed the centropolis in upcoming centuries. 2031 Tu β A completely unexpected delegation arrived to C'Ora. Many inhabitants no longer believed they would ever see anything similar. It was a group of Du'Baels, Wild Bones, but at a technological level which was breathtaking at that times. Standing aside from all the coups, feuds and revolutions raging across the rest of the planet, this proud nation was constantly developing and improving their knowledge. The Bones had been inhabiting the ruins of Tor'Thubo, the former centropolis of the Empire the of Circle, before they once again reached out to the Coraabian society, this time in a surprisingly conciliatory manner. Many years of negotiation about cooperation ensued while a considerable amount of these mysterious creatures stayed in C'Ora. 2050 Tu β The Du'Baels were fully incorporated into the society with the signature of the well known Caor Pact; henceforth, they were called by a rather more cultivated name, Baels (Bones, Skeletons). They officially entered the politics and security forces of the planet, something the discriminated Unliving were still not allowed to, for instance. 2274 Tu β C'Ora hosted the first illustrious Coraabiad, which was held at the end of each Gul (Sexennial of Excavation) with corabit regularity ever since. At first, it was a cozy event organized by a handful of Unliving traditionalists but over centuries, it grew to its current humongous proportions. 2667 Tu β The first wave of derobotization swooped the planet, leaving extensive damage in its wake. A newly established technophobic movement Wat Wonght! (Forever Ours!) splitted the society. It took several decades before everything returned back to a normal. The sector count of the centropolis C'Ora hit 22; the number of souls living there reached 60 million. 2845 Tu β The Miners' merchant fleet was already seriously obsolete. The last functional transplanetary magrav was put out of commission. The obsolete bi-ion engines dramatically lengthened the flight times, and even the voyages to the nearest systems were no longer profitable for the Coraabian economy. 2954 Tu β The Oroi project was officially launched on Coraab, an allseeing network with the purpose of virtually connecting the whole population. 3073 Tu β After almost three hundred years of difficult diplomacy, a delegation from the distant Cosmopolitan Worlds arrived, finally presenting an unprecedented offer. Coraab was deemed worthy of setting up a liaison string node Gath-9. Diplomatic relations between Cosmopolitans and Coraabians were established. All this was big news for the entire planet. Simultaneously with the preparations for stringification started the construction of Iontal, the first and still the only interstellar port (a so-called exoport) in the central regions of Coraabia. Coraab was destined to become an important transit hub soon enough. 3192 Tu β The building of Iontal was finished at last; plagued with lags and delays, the whole process violated the agreed budget cap twice. Coraab reached the threshold of a new phase in its civilizational progress. 3197 Tu β With the assistance of developed techno-waks from WaalkWak, the synthetic string WakaX+ was stretched with great pomp to the Coraab's system. Delegates of other xenic races from all corners of Coraabia, including Uufthakas, Kotoics, scholars from Khoptid and representatives of the androgynic race Searth, soon arrived on the planet. As a result, Coraab had to weather a radical social change, much to the dismay of Zombs and traditionalistic Miners, the most vocal anti-immigrant Coraabians. Racist societies and numerous xenophobic movements sprang up. 3265 Tu β The Oroi officially became a part of the sub-net network, which spreaded over dozens of developed planetary systems. After the connection, Coraabians were flooded with information and knowledge flowing to them from other developed cultures via a transmission system of strunexes. The planet finally grew into a serious contender in the interplanetary arena. 3435 Tu β 3449 Tu β Nearly 200 years of relative peace and busy transplanetary contacts were disrupted by a dramatic course of events. The situation in C'Ora unexpectedly escalated a long and bloody civil war. The Miners' movement Tu'Rokarr provoked a coup (nowadays remembered as the Tal Threegloom), whose aim was to expel all xenic inhabitants from Coraab. Subsequent outbursts of violence plunged the planet into complete isolation; the only tangible result was a collapse of the planetary economy and tremendous losses on both sides of the conflict. A well-organized and numerous Ilokajish movement Nu'Okha β loosely translated as linked beings β led by a counter-revolutionary Bocheezai fought back at the Miners, because after centuries of silent endurance of oppression from their former masters, Ilokaji viewed the conflict as a pretext for bloody settling of old scores. The centropolis found itself in a total war. [[File:Destrukce_c_ory_by_blaz_porenta.jpg |thumb|330 px|right|alt=A |Artist's rendition of the impact of devastating ban-bombs on the centre of C'Ora
(Coraabia Artist: Blaz Porenta)]] 3450 Tu β 3501 Tu β The entire crisis resulted in the so-called Fifty Years of Skeletarchy. Endless bloody clashes between the Miners' putschists and the Unliving were ultimately resolved by the Baels, who razed the first seven Sectors of Coraab's centropolis to the ground with ban-bombs. Over the course of one Haze Day, leaders of both adversarial factions were eliminated, paralyzing the whole city society. It was by far the bloodiest act of Baels for times to come and a stark contrast to their previous practice of expressing their opinions through strictly diplomatic means. This move shocked the whole Coraabia. In the ensuing chaos, Supreme Skelethor Ulthaao (also known as Ulthao, Ul-tha) usurped the reign and restored obedience in the fragmented Coraab with an iron fist. The Miners' Cor'Tal was dissolved and all key positions were filled with Baels. The society got its second wind during the 5 decades of skeletarchy. However, that came at the cost of subjugation to total dictatorship and forced overhaul of all political and cultural life in C'Ora. Probably the most important step taken by Ulthaao was the definite equalization of the Unliving and living in the Great Coraabian Declaration signed by representatives of both opposing factions in 3491 Tu. 50 years of embargo imposed on transplanetary trade expired and shortly after the death of Skelethor Ulthaao in 3499 Tu, skeletarchy was officially dissolved by a council of Skelethors. 3554 Tu β The most famous centre of education β great Coraabian Orbital University β was built on the planetary orbit. This place exceled in the highest concentration of brains far and wide. The adepts often had to wait for decades before they received access to the well-fitted university laboratories, where they could perform experiments impossible to conduct elsewhere. Orbital University became a gathering point for scholars and freethinkers, and it was a source of great deal of unbelievable scientific discoveries for centuries. Famous Ikram Dogo was appointed as the first rector. 3602 Tu β Coraab established both business and political connections with Annors, gaining access to vast riches and exotic goods from the distant Xennozone. 3707 Tu β A construction of a hypermodern spaceport named after an ancient revolutionary began. Bochezai, symbolizing the Ilokajish national hero for all Unliving, was constructed on the western edge of C'Ora and later became a full-fledged βcity in a cityβ which proided jobs for millions of Coraabians every day. 3846 Tu β The second synthetic string was stretched to Coraab and the exoport Iontal was rebuilt into a liaison node of the second class. This endeavor cost the centropolitan treasury a small fortune. Gata9+ connected Coraab with WaalkWak, which immediately initiated busy trading. 3868 Tu β A completely unexpected enemy appeared. University oroists detected an unidentified object moving across the Iontachor. An unknown mechanical culture was approaching Coraab's system; this new power received a name Redda. Immediately after establishing contact, the Redds violated the Coraabian Treaty on Interplanetary Colonization and landed on the uninhabited third planet of the system. The sad truth was there was not a single world in Coraabia which would condemn the annexation. The whole conflict resulted in the so-called Three Years' War. 3869 Tu β Redds began to build large industrial complexes on their freshly-occupied world and did not hesitated to plunder even the Coraabian mining colonies. Coraabians were terrified by the sudden appearance of this belligerent artificial intelligence. Redds acted only in accordance with the totalitarian ideology coming from the Red Command, whose exact location remained a mystery. Coraabians could not believe anybody could so quickly and effectively occupy a planet in their own planetary system. It was agreed that the so-called Circle Council, consisting of all the Coraabian ruling elites, would convene. For the very first time, the Coraabian civilization acted decisively as one. 3871 Tu β A fleet of spaceships armed with nuclear warheads left Coraab. The Circle Council decided to stop the Redds dead in their tracks at all costs as reliable intel hinted at their ongoing massive armament efforts. Unfortunately, the Redds were already well-prepared, the moons revolving around the seized planet serving as platforms for defense mechanisms. Casualties were enormous on both sides and several ban-bombs exploded above the surface of the third planet, causing a precession of the planet's axis. The planet was henceforth known among all Coraabians as We'Rd (Flash). However, the artificial intelligence survived, for the Red Command was safely dug in kilometres beneath the rocky surface. Nevertheless, the powerful detonations damaged the planet's crust, fueling induced seismicity that destroyed all Reddan magravs, in which the Redds transported millions of their military units across the multiverse. The earth opened her mouth and swallowed the entire invasion army up, the majority crushed under collapsing soil and rocks. Coraab bought itself some time. 3875 Tu - A delegation of meta-king Xul-bi-chor was amiably greeted by centropolitan governor Muezzich himself. The totalitarian meta-dictatorship from distant Ulgor signed staggering contracts for export of its titanium with Coraabians. To this date, almost eighty xalien races live on Coraab. [[File:Kruhova_loze_by_noah_bradley.jpg |thumb|420 px|left|alt=A |Bokoron - the seat of the famous Coraa'Boroa - Circle Lodge
(Coraabia Artist: Noah Bradley)]] 3901 Tu β For the first time, the citizens of C'Ora elected a city council with xalien members β the so-called Circle Lodge (cor. Coraa'Boroa). Until that year, the centropolis has been formally governed mostly by Miners; therefore many historians consider this date to be the first year of the real cosmopolitan society on Coraab. A composition of the first Circle Lodge: 43% Miners, 29% Unliving, 23% xaliens, 4% Baels and 1% artificial intelligence. 3915 Tu β The Redds had been preparing for the second and much more massive invasion of Coraab for a long time. Coraabian intelligence agencies speculated that all hell would finally break loose this year. The problem was the Red Command bribed many Coraabians into providing the Redds with crucial information. After years of labor, Coraabian intelligence managed to implant a trans-ideological virus into the interware of the Red Command, cutting it off from the rest of the invasion army while also shutting down the control units of Reddan magravs upon their takeoff. Totally out of control, the spaceships left the Coraabian planetary system and disappeared Iblort knows where. 3920 Tu β The ensuing nuclear attack carried out by earth-penetrating weapons badly damaged the Red Command of We'Rd itself and it seemed the red mecha-culture would not be able to recover again. 4140 Tu β The long-feared assumption became true β not only that Redds survived in their underground complexes, Armo Tiamar, a fanatic and the highest ranked living ideologue of the Red Command in the planetary system, was alive and kicking as well. The rearmament was well underway, but it seemed the commanding interware was still infected. Accompanied by numerous escorts,Tiamar himself arrived at a hastily convened planetary conference and offered Coraab an armistice. No one believed the Redds would be able to warrant the peace, something so contradictory to their expansionist nature. However, once the Coraabian representatives studied the infrared images from the surface of the third planet and realized a fully developed war machine of considerable power stood behind Tiamar, they agreed. The precarious truce has held to this day but everybody knows it is merely a calm before the showdown for which Coraab tries to prepare as well as possible. 4179 Tu β This year would go down as a bloody entry into the annals of modern Coraabian history, almost marking the start of another interplanetary war. In the first hours of the Haze Day of the sixth Tol, a squadron of battle ingars approached the northern hemisphere of Coraab. These ships, undetectable by available sensors, immediately launched an assault on famous Orbital University. An Omega-Bot commando crashed its hull; the resulting air leak affected one third of the university premises. The following hours turned into a bloodbath. Students and teachers alike did not have the slightest chance to resist the heavily-armed Reddan troops. 17,000 students and professors met their end at the hands of Redds, who also escorted 5000 hostages to the underground prison complexes at one of We'Rd's moons. This hostile event utterly shocked the whole planet and Orbital University has not recovered from the damage yet. An ambitious xalien Hermes became its lifelong leader. This institution has been responsible for avoiding any attacks from the outside enemy. Today, it is probably both the most robust and most expensive security bureau in the history of the planet. Apart from accumulating the majority of existing Coraabian military forces under one roof, InCorps also employ millions of creatures of every conceivable race and specialization. 4183 Tu β Hermes ordered the second nuclear bombing of the Reddan satellite world. According to all sources, the command at We'Rd received a fatal direct hit. Tiamar was declared dead. 4186 Tu β The Circle Lodge of C'Ora was disbanded under unclear circumstances and all important functions in the city were concentrated into the hands of a single man β Governor Zula's. His credo was to strengthen the bureaucracy and city security. 4210 Tu β The treaty later called Hermes-Donner Pact was signed. In front of the head of InCorps, Cosmopolitan Worlds represented by the Liga committed themselves to the defense of Coraab in case of any Reddan attack. 4216 Tu β Due to active business relations with Annor, a new trend was imported to Coraab β xennopets. The trade in ruuks skyrocketed and virtually every citizen longed for one of these exotic creatures. Nobody suspected that Annorian traders forged the documents and that despite prior arrangements, all ruuks came from planets with dramatically different atmosphere than Coraab's. Everything led to a major catastrophe during which the Cosmopolitan Liga intervened on the Coraabian soil for the very first time. 4223 Tu β GCSGB - Great Coraabian Stem Gene Bank - was founded. Traditionalists wanted to maintain "the quality of the race" on the current level by collecting high-grade Unliving genome. This motion was sparked by the newest expert studies from Orbital University which proved the genome has been dramatically degenerating in the last centuries. 4235 Tu β Traditionalists formed around the mighty Zomb Valigursai assassinated an employee in the headquarters of C'Orai, the newly established government of the city. Several administrative complexes were struck by biological weapons; nevertheless, Zula himself survived and tightened the grip on the city even further. Twenty years of paranoia and repressions followed. 4249 Tu β The alliance of several distinguished Zombs known as Those Who Have threw the whole Periphery around C'Ora into turmoil. Mass demonstrations of the Unliving resulted in sharp clashes with units of the InCorps. The last Zombs left C'Ora and relocated to their southern brethΒ·ren in Min'Ora. 4252 Tu β The broadcasting from hostile We'Rd paused. However, the dispatched probes found out it was only another change in Reddan doctrine. Deep under the frozen polar oceans in shielded complexes, the production of a new generation of invasion units was once again continuing at full throttle. There were also speculations that the dangerous Armo Tiamar was still alive, preparing the third and decisive wave of the red invasion. 7|4258 Tu - Governor Zula conffered the status of city state on the city port Bochezai. The rich agglomeration with millions of inhabitants could therefore establish its own government body. 1|4259 Tu - A Min'Orian mining company To-ZanX announced cessation of extraction of corabit in the Great Corabit Well. It was the third company for the last Gul ending its operations on the once profitable deposits in the southern hemisphere. 3|4259 Tu - An encounter with an unknown ship took place in the vicinity of Coraab's system. Patrolling wakken Qaakkkon5 stopped broadcasting after few Oms. Sensitive devices of InCorps detected high levels of radiation, rumors of armed confrontation spread out. All flights were cancelled at the Bochezai port, which led to the collapse of Coraabian economy. WaalkWak sent a special military envoy on Coraab, Tektonik Sqquuknu. 4|4259 Tu - Bad news arrived from the string - Tektonik Sqquuknu put an embargo on all wobbles and oscillations. Bochezai faced a problem of critically overfilled concourses. Governor Zula announced in his speech that all measures were only temporary and the planet eagerly awaits any details concerning the military affair on the edge of the system. Min'Orian Zomb Valigursai gave an address in the Bonehall in which he called for a fight with "Wakian phlegm bringing war to the Circle". 7|4259 Tu - According to an official report of the investigators, Qaakkkon5 was destroyed by a fatal overload of wakken's engines. However, after the publication of the report, the sub-net was literally overwhelmed with alternative versions and conspiracy theories explaining the true nature of events. A sub-journal MoZaa described this event as a "secret clash of cultures" and the well-known nu-blogger KeiDukk spoke about "well-concealed Reddan offensive". Following a short meeting with Hermes, Tektonik Sqquuknu returned to WaalkWak. 5|4261 Tu - Elections of the new rector of Orbital University produced a clear winner β WaalkWakian traveller and long-serving orbital xennologist Qan Koolai won by a landslide. 87% percent of students supported his nomination and Koolai therefore enjoyed one of the strongest mandates in the history of this institution. 4263 Tu - The centropolis C'Ora celebrates its jubilee β 3000 Tu since its foundation. Coraab organizes the most spectacular celebrations in the past tens of Guls. Agan Prefect Yamdra himself arrived to personally congratulate C'Orian governor and wished him further success.
